昨日、東京近郊は田園都市線の脱線による不通が1日中で、周辺を含めなかなかの混乱ぶりでした。。でも今日はもう通常運転だそうで。
いつもよりは復旧に時間はかかったけれど、海外で脱線事故に出くわした人は２週間ぐらい止まっていたよ、って言ってたから 日本はまだ良い方なのかも。。
■カール・アラン賞
さて、１０月３日には、イギリスにてカール・アラン賞の授与式とDinner & Danceが行われたようです。
カール・アラン賞は、ダンス界のオスカー賞と言われるものだそうです。今月10月25・26日に開催予定の三笠宮杯で知られる、故 三笠宮崇仁親王殿下も1952年、1980年に同賞を贈られているそうです。ダンスにご造詣が深く、皇室きってのダンスの名手であられたとのこと。

■インペリアル・オープン
また、１０月５日同じ会場（Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel, Gatwick RH10 3EU, UK）では、ロンドン・インターの前哨戦ともいえそうなインペリアル・オープンが開かれていたようです。
日本選手も何組かファイナル入りしていたようです。アマチュア勢も結構来ているみたいだし。。ロンドン・インターでも日本勢が活躍しますように！
